Hello i was asking always to change this localhost must i have a server or what or how ... can anyone give me some details about that .. and thanks , if i want to change this localhost .. what requests i have to take care from it and thanks

it could be one single m/c

edit /etc/sysconfig/network add this line

HOSTNAME=MYnewHOSTname

save and exit.
